Biography

Konstantinos I. Bougioukas was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. He is a research methodologist and a supporter of open and reproducible science. He holds a BSc in Physics, a BSc in Physical Education and Sport Science (excellence award as first graduate), an MSc in Statistics and Modeling and an MSc in Medical Research Methodology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). He specializes in methods for overviews of reviews and completed his PhD at Medical School of A.U.Th.

At present he is a Teaching Assistant and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Laboratory of Hygiene, Social-Preventive Medicine and Medical Statistics at Medical School of A.U.Th. He is working on improving the reliability and reporting of medical research as a meta-researcher. His interests include medical research methodology, data visualization, and data analysis with R computer language.
